Philosophy:
It is the philosophy of Washington County Public Health and Home Care that all persons of the county shall be eligible for services available through the agency, regardless of age, sex, religion, race, creed, socioeconomic status, or place of residence within the county boundaries. Not only will skilled nursing, health supervision, and home care aide service be offered, but community clinics and screenings will be available at specified times. Health education and teaching are important goals for the agency as we strive for a healthier environment. Provision of service shall be limited only by available staff time and funding.
